'What to expect at C.T.G's. Tuesday ride nights'
The nights kick off at 6.30pm with a riders briefing, and riding is rapped up by 8.30pm.
If you are planning on riding you must arive before 6:45pm to sign in.
C.T.G is a Christian group of mates and it is not unusual for them to stop, gather in the troops and thank God for sending his chosen Son Jesus to die in their place. This might take you by surprise or be awkward at first, but after getting to know these guys and seeing for yourself how thankful they are that Jesus died in their place, you'll possibly soon be thanking God yourself for the hope offered in Jesus Christ.
The nights started out as practice nights for the team but they quickly attracted many locals and are probably now more of a fun ride night with riders of every different level cutting laps and getting to know each other better.
If you have not been out to the pig pen before you can expect to find:
- Two big dirt down ramps vary in distance throughout the night from 25ft to 75ft depending on riders and weather conditions.
- And a small motor cross track, suits most ages as its short, sharp and lots of fun for a few quick laps.
C.T.G is a non profit group operating without any insurance, the best thing you can do is ride a bike with rec rego it doesn't cost much, if this worries you it is best not to ride and just come and watch.
Please note that The first night you ride you may be asked
not to ride off the
freestyle ramps, if you come back the next week and still want to have a crack the guys will probably push one of the ramps up close for your first couple of jumps.
The rides go ahead most Tuesday nights but if the weather is bad it is best to ring Ben 0438741662 or Craig 0427977300 before driving out from too far.
Remember motorcycling is dangerous and always ride within your limits!
