Why not, is a question I often ask myself, why doesn't everyone jump at the gift of eternal life? Maybe it sounds too good to be true? Maybe it's because once we accept there is a LIFE after death we become accountable to someone? Maybe it's because our friends will think we're silly? Or maybe people just haven't really understood that God wants people to come to him? He wanted a relationship with them so much that he sent "Jesus" his son to make a way possible to come to him. Jesus after giving his own life as a sacrifice for us was raised from the dead, this proves that God can defeat the power of death. He didn't do this for himself but for you and me, he says he died so we can live. Jesus died for people, knowing most of us would reject him, but his love stands strong, and his offer to give people everlasting life is still there,
everyone who will
confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and
believe in their heart that God raised him from the dead will be saved (saved from the anger of God towards those who won't accept his Son). "Why not", will always be a question of mine, but I will keep trying to present the saving message found in the bible, the message of everlasting life which contains real hope. Why Not accept Jesus into your heart today, and with me, live the rest of your life on this earth knowing the best is yet to come!
